"On September 12th, 2009 my brother, Michael Tuthill tragically passed away, he was 22 years old. In his short time he taught us and others several times his age how to live, love & laugh. I wanted to create this video for my brother as he inspired my sister and I to learn to kite and my Dad to keep kiting. My brother saw my sister Kailey and my first Kite lesson two weeks before he passed. Since his passing 3 years ago I find peace in launching my kite as I know he is with me in the wind." – Karissa Tuthill-
This is a short independent film created in dedication to Mike. We hope you enjoy this powerful story and are inspired by Michael’s life as much as we are. It features his sister Karissa Tuthill and was made possible by the entire Tuthill family. The film was shot and edited by Amon Barker. The footage was captured over a week in South Padre Island, TX.
